Wands serve a similar purpose to athames (ritual daggers), though the two objects have their distinct uses: an athame is used to command, whereas a wand is seen as more gentle, and is used to invite or encourage.
Wood: Cedar Length: 20″
Nature of the wand: Unyielding; the worn and heavy splits within this wand can make you think it is fragile but nothing could be further from the truth. When I found this wood floating down a river it was apparent that it was many years old. The firey nature of cedar has become calcified in the murky depths of the river which has left the wand feeling stubborn but resilient. It would match an owner of a similar virtue.
This wand feels incorruptable and stoic. It’s name is Hungarian and means brave.
