Old Phoenix Wand

Description

Wands are a great tool for directing and working with energy! Each wand is carved, sanded, and waxed by me. They have individual personalities and styles that they would work best with. Wands serve a similar purpose to athames (ritual daggers), though the two objects have their distinct uses: an athame is used to command, whereas a wand is seen as more gentle, and is used to invite or encourage.

This wand is named Old Phoenix for its renewable energy. It is made of beech wood that was given from the Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland. It holds a rigid and unyielding quality. This wand smells like old books and dust, a librarian’s wand, it reflects those virtues. It would be well suited to a practical practitioner with an inquisitive nature. It is 14″ long.
